We enjoyed the wonderful picture book,
The Easter Egg by Jan Brett this past week. In this special book, there are many different variations of beautiful eggs that are created throughout this story. 1st grade then set to work creating their own beautiful egg using yarn, a balloon, and a glue/water mixture. It was definitely a great opportunity to persevere and show off our teamwork skills! Hopefully some of these colorful eggs made it home safely!
